STATE LICENSING
Argosy University, Nashville Campus is authorized by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission (Parkway Towers, Suite 1900, 404 James Robertson Parkway, Nashville, TN 37243, 1.615.741.3605). This authorization must be renewed each year and is based on an evaluation by minimum standards concerning quality of education, ethical business practices, health and safety, and fiscal responsibility.

THE COLLEGE OF PSYCHOLOGY AND BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES
The MASTER OF ARTS (MA) IN MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING program explores psychological, mental health and human development principles, and examines a variety of treatment methods. Students learn client interaction and intervention along with basic counseling skills in a solutions-based academic environment. The program is intended to continue the professional development of those who are currently functioning, or wish to function, in a counseling role.

The DOCTOR OF EDUCATION (EDD) IN COUNSELOR EDUCATION & SUPERVISION prepares counselors for a variety of settings by providing the advanced skills and knowledge essential to effective leadership and advocacy. The field is dedicated to both the academic preparation and comprehensive supervision of counselors across multiple settings. This course of study aligns with the Master of Arts (MA) in Professional Counseling program to encourage entry-level counseling students to work toward becoming doctoral-level advanced practitioners, educators,
and supervisors.

COLLEGE OF EDUCATION
The MASTER OF ARTS IN EDUCATION (MAED) IN EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP program is designed to instill key philosophies, theories and values that impact education. It prepares students to improve policies and practices within organizations through the motivation and supervision of others. Students develop skills needed to design, implement, and evaluate educational programs and curricula. Courses include educational law, educational finance, organizational communication, human resource management, instruction supervision, and organizational management.

The MASTER OF ARTS IN EDUCATION (MAED) IN INSTRUCTIONAL LEADERSHIP program examines the challenges and problems encountered in today?s educational environment. Coursework encompasses the historical, philosophical, psychological, social, technical, and theoretical aspects of education. Students develop skills in analysis, oral and written communication, problem solving, critical thinking, team building, and computer technology. The program is designed for those who wish to develop or enhance classroom skills, become curriculum supervisors, or become educational leaders with a focus on instruction.

The EDUCATION SPECIALIST (EDS) IN EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP program concentrates on applied organizational theory within the context of educational organizations. This specialized program develops the competencies required to secure educational administrator positions at the elementary or secondary school level.

The EDUCATION SPECIALIST (EDS) IN INSTRUCTIONAL LEADERSHIP program enables experienced teachers to become more effective practitioners and educational leaders with a focus on instruction. Coursework is designed to satisfy the requirements of students seeking career advancement, and those who are working toward a doctorate degree.

The DOCTOR OF EDUCATION (EDD) IN EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP program is designed to enhance educational leadership strengths. Students learn innovative and collaborative techniques used to manage and govern educational institutions. The program prepares students for leadership positions in school district, regional, state or national administration. Students must choose a concentration in Higher Education Administration or K-12 Education.

The DOCTOR OF EDUCATION (EDD) IN INSTRUCTIONAL LEADERSHIP program draws upon educational theories and practices to help students discover new learning techniques for diverse audiences. Students enrolled in this program master teaching methodologies, hone classroom skills, and gain the knowledge required to become curriculum administrators or educational leaders with a focus on instruction. Students must choose a concentration in Higher Education or K-12 Education.

COLLEGE OF BUSINESS
The MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA) program offers a solutions-based, action-oriented approach to organizational change and human dynamics. It is designed to develop a new breed of leader ? those who can identify challenges and opportunities, draw on the latest technology and information, use advanced analytical and planning approaches, and execute plans for positive change. Core courses include a broad array of foundation subjects, all relevant to meeting challenges and problems encountered in modern organizations. Students are required to choose from a variety of concentrations: Accounting, Customized Professional Concentration, Information Systems Management, International Business, Management, or Marketing. This program can enhance future career potential, and prepare students for postgraduate work in business.

The MASTER OF SCIENCE (MSM) IN MANAGEMENT program is designed to meet the operations and leadership needs of managers and supervisors in public, private, and not for profit industries. A goal of this program is to enable students to diagnose multiple organizational circumstances, determine and evaluate options, and implement and evaluate a plan of action. This concentration will benefit individuals, practitioners, consultants, and advisors who are or want to become responsible for administrating for-profit and not-for- profit organizations.

The DOCTOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (DBA) program provides industry and academic professionals the opportunity to build upon core skills and knowledge gained through the master?s program. Students develop advanced comprehension of theoretical and applied literature in a chosen discipline, and a higher level of competence in conducting action research. The program is designed to develop critical knowledge and skills for success in service to the profession and the community, and in attaining credentials essential to leading, consulting and teaching. Students must choose a concentration in Accounting, Customized Professional Concentration, Information Systems, International Business, Management, or Marketing.
