Caldwell College was founded by the Sisters of Saint Dominic in 1939 and builds upon eight centuries of Catholic Dominican commitment to higher education. Over 600 graduate students of diverse age and backgrounds and faiths are currently enrolled in a range of master?s degree, graduate certificate and post-master?s programs in Business, Education, Psychology, and Pastoral Ministry.
Located on a 70-acre wooded campus in suburban Caldwell, NJ, only twenty miles from New York City, the College is nestled in a residential community that provides a high degree of privacy and security. At the same time, the College is convenient to Routes 46, 23, 80, 280, and 287, and the Garden State Parkway; ample parking is available. The Caldwell College campus is scenic and manageable. Jennings Library, centrally located on the campus, provides orientation and on-going support for all graduate students and offers state-of-the-art internet connectivity.

The Graduate faculty are scholars, dedicated teachers, researchers, and professionals in their fields. Graduate classes are small and each student receives the attention of the professor.
