The College of Mount St. Joseph is a Catholic college of more than 2,300 students that provides a liberal arts and professional education emphasizing values, integrity, and social responsibility. Founded in 1920 by the Sisters of Charity, the Mount is a coeducational institution nationally recognized for quality and value and for serving the needs of all its students including adult and graduate students.

The Mount's advanced degree programs specialize in the cultivation of leadership skills in business, depth in ministry, and expertise in the teaching and health professions. Graduate degree programs include: education, religious studies, organizational leadership, nursing, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.

In addition to its graduate programs, the Mount offers more than 45 undergraduate degree programs. Small class sizes encourage individualized learning, and students have opportunities for career experience, leadership development, service learning, and participation in a wide variety of activities. The Mount's scenic campus overlooking the Ohio River is a 15-minute drive away from downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, a cosmopolitan Midwestern city.


Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL)
A multi-disciplinary master?s program that focuses on values-based leadership, including: the development of relationships between organizational members, effective decision-making processes and an understanding of how modern technology can best support leaders.

MAGELIN: Master's Graduate Entry-Level into Nursing
(formerly known as MN)

Full-time, accelerated program for individuals with bachelor's degrees in disciplines other than nursing who are interested in pursuing a nursing career.

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
The Department of Nursing will now offer an MSN (Master of Science in Nursing) with two tracks, Nurse Educator and Nurse Administrator, and a DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) degree with two tracks, Administration and Advanced Practice, beginning fall 2012. Ten-week courses offered in a blended learning format will provide the student with interactive learning strategies and opportunities to complete class projects to enhance their work.

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
Comprehensive, three-year program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
Tuition: $81,000 for program or $9,000 per semester

Professional Advancement Programs - Programs in Instructional Leadership, 4/5 Endorsement, and Reading Science. Designed for licensed teachers seeking additional knowledge and skills.

Major in Teaching - Programs in Inclusive Early Childhood, Middle Childhood, Adolescent to Young Adult, Multi-age, and Multicultural Special Education. Teacher Education Accelerated Master?s (TEAM) programs provide an accelerated format for those interested in changing careers to become a teacher.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree gives Mount undergraduate students the opportunity to earn an MBA with one additional year of graduate study. The MBA curriculum (36 credit hours) challenges you to strengthen and apply your knowledge in core business areas: managerial finance, accounting, economics, and marketing. Small class sizes also allow you to hone your interpersonal, team and group communication skills and to work one-on-one with expert faculty.
