Under the guidance of a world-renowned faculty, you will explore both theory and practice in courses that prepare you to meet the needs of an increasingly complex society.
Located just steps from some of the most influential U.S., international, and nongovernmental organizations in the world, GW?s Elliott School of International Affairs is consistently ranked among the top international affairs graduate programs. In addition to teaching a vast array of courses, its more than 150 full-time faculty members produce innovative scholarly research and policy analysis and regularly engage with the U.S. and international policy communities. Classroom experience is complemented by a robust events program that brings leading scholars, policymakers, business leaders, members of the media, and other speakers to campus to discuss and debate important international issues. Many students work or intern at nearby institutions, including the World Bank, U.S. State Department, and the White House.
