Founded in 1886, Goldey-Beacom College is a private, coeducational college offering bachelors and masters degrees in all areas of business and is Delaware?s only nationally accredited college that is devoted solely to the study of business. Goldey-Beacom?s safe, suburban campus is located in the Pike Creek Valley suburb of Wilmington, Delaware, just 30 minutes from Philadelphia and centrally located between New York City and Washington, DC.
Graduate courses are offered in the evening hours to accommodate the busy schedules of people balancing a variety of demands in their personal and professional lives. One-week seminars and Saturday courses are also available. Each semester is comprised of two eight-week sessions. This format allows the Master of Business Administration or Master of Management degree to be earned in just two years on a part-time basis, by taking one course per eight-week session in the fall, spring and summer semesters. Two classes per session can lead to a degree in just one year. The program of study is comprised of 12 courses, or 36 credit hours.
Students enrolled in the graduate program have earned undergraduate degrees from such institutions as Columbia University, Georgetown University, Harvard University, New York University, Stanford University, University of Delaware, and the University of Pennsylvania. Over 40 percent of graduate students are international.
