Nurses can explore their options at graduate and career fairs

No matter what field individuals wish to pursue, they can always benefit from the help available at a graduate or career fair. Not only do representatives from various advanced programs attend these events, but potential employers as well.
Illinois Wesleyan University recently announced that its School of Nursing will host a Nursing Career Fair on November 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event, which is offered in conjunction with the university's Hart Career Center, is open to students from all nursing schools and members of the community who seek employment in this field.
Among the Illinois companies that will be represented at the fair include Decatur Memorial Hospital, Springfield Clinic and St. John's Hospital, according to the Hart Career Center's Web site. Minnesota's Mayo Clinic will also be featured, along with Missouri's BJC Healthcare.
Visitors to the fair also have a chance to learn about advanced nursing degree programs, as the Web site states that officials from Illinois' Bradley University Graduate Program and the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine will be on hand to answer questions.
