Mount Aloysius College is a small, private, comprehensive, Catholic, liberal arts college sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy. Located in Cresson, Pennsylvania, Mount Aloysius is adjacent to U.S. Route 22 between the cities of Altoona and Johnstown, only 80 miles east of Pittsburgh. Fourteen buildings compose the administration, academic and residence areas of Mount Aloysius College's scenic, mountaintop 165-acre campus.
Established in 1853, Mount Aloysius College today specializes in both career-focused graduate and undergraduate education. Total enrollment is approximately 2,000 students. Graduate degrees are offered in three academic areas: Criminal Justice Management in Correctional Administration, Health and Human Services Administration and General Psychology. All programs are offered on a full- or part-time basis. Courses are presented in an accelerated format allowing students to work full-time and study full-time.
Graduate course cost per credit is $450. There is a minimal registration fee. A maximum of six semester credits earned prior to enrolling at Mount Aloysius College may be accepted for transfer. Students should refer to the Mount Aloysius College catalog for details. Financial aid is available to graduate students in the form of both private and federal loans. Students wishing to receive Federal Stafford Loan monies to finance their graduate education must be enrolled in a degree program and must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Renewal FAFSA on a yearly basis. Additionally, a Federal Stafford Loan Master Promissory Note (MPN) must be submitted.

All graduate courses are held in the evening, making them convenient for all types of students. Opportunities for thesis or non-thesis tracks to completion are offered in all graduate programs.
