PhD IN LEADERSHIP AND POLICY
The Niagara University PhD program in leadership and policy is designed for working professionals who are interested in furthering their leadership potential through research and advance study. The program offers an innovative and unique model in preparing leaders who can implement systemic change to further organizational and community goals. Candidates will become leaders in shaping, implementing and evaluating policy in international, cross-disciplinary and diverse contexts.
MASTER OF EDUCATION
The area?s only private university that?s both NCATE accredited and recognized by the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. Niagara offers an accelerated three semester teacher education program combining a master?s degree and New York State certification, with advanced programs in Educational Leadership (also available online), School Counseling, School Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Special Education and Literacy, and Math, Science & Technology, Early Childhood and Special Education (B-2), and TESOL.
MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

MASTER OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE
A traditional master?s program and the area?s only five-year BS/MS program in Criminal Justice Administration lets Niagara meet the needs of both incoming freshmen and working professionals.

Alternative Program School District Leader (24 hours) leading to NYS Certification as a School District Leader is available for those candidates who are not current educators but want certification for district level positions in New York State, School Business Administration (SBA), CAS in School Counseling leading to New York State Provisional and/or Permanent Certification. CAS from Niagara University in Mental Health Counseling, TESOL (24 hours).
All candidates seeking NYS Certification in Educational Leadership must have completed a Master's Degree in Education and received a teaching certificate.
All graduate Educational Leadership programs are aligned with New York State certification requirements for school and district leadership, as well as the program standards of the Educational Leadership Constituent Council (ELCC).
