ACADEMICS
The Full-time MBA curriculum is offered at the Newark, New Jersey campus of Rutgers University and the Part-time Professional MBA program is offered at both the Newark and New Brunswick campuses. Core classes in the Part-time MBA program may also be taken at convenient off-campus locations in Morristown and Jersey City, NJ. And RBS has been offering first-rate, graduate business instruction in China on a continuous basis since 1994, longer than any other American business school and currently offers its International Executive MBA program in Beijing, Singapore, and Shanghai.
The newly revised full-time curriculum requires completion of no less than 60 credit hours distributed over the following categories: a 28-credit core that includes required courses, foundation courses, and an MBA Team Consulting capstone course requirement; and 32 credits of electives.
A wealth of courses, concentrations, and degree options enable you to customize your learning experience to fit your career goals. Dual-degree programs are also available, enabling you to combine an MBA degree with a science or liberal arts degree.
CAREER PLACEMENT
The Office of Career Management enables MBA and MQF (Master of Quantitative Finance) students to develop comprehensive career-planning strategies that carry through to graduation and beyond. A team of professional career management specialists actively supports students in every phase of the job search. Among the career management resources available to Rutgers Business School MBA and MQF students are:

The median starting salary for the Class of 2009 was $85,000, plus a median bonus of $10,000.
ADMISSIONS
Rutgers Business School admits those students who show promise of succeeding in the program. Primary consideration is given to the applicant?s scholastic record, including the distribution and quality of work, as well as the GMAT test score and work experience. Other considerations include civic leadership, progressively responsible work experience, and clearly defined goals. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required of students whose native language is not English. The average GMAT for the full-time class entering in the fall of 2009 was 637. The average undergraduate GPA was 3.3.
The application deadline for September admission to the full-time program is May 1 and to the part-time program is June 1. International students residing abroad must apply by March 15.
