Judith L. Reynolds, Director of Graduate Admission
Founded in 1906, Suffolk University is a private co-educational university of 9,500 full- and part-time undergraduate and graduate students oriented toward accommodating working professionals.
Suffolk University is located on historic Beacon Hill, in the very heart of Boston. The campus is adjacent to the Massachusetts State House, the Financial District, and Government Center, and within easy walking distance of all forms of public transportation, making it very attractive to both working professionals and full-time students.
Throughout its history, Suffolk has established linkages with the business, public service, and legal communities which have reciprocated generously with financial support, internships, cooperative education positions, research opportunities, adjunct faculty, professional advice and placements of graduates. Professors bring extensive experience in business, teaching, public, and private work directly into the classroom. They are skilled in their fields and equipped with current knowledge in their areas of expertise. The professors? hands-on experiences are matched by academic credentials: all the graduate full-time faculty hold doctoral degrees and every adjunct faculty must meet stringent qualifications to teach at the University.
Suffolk was founded to provide quality education at a reasonable cost. Tuition is among the lowest of any private graduate program in New England. Financial assistance is available to graduate students in the forms of grants, loans, employment programs and merit based fellowships.
