Union Graduate College is located in Schenectady New York, the heart of New York's Tech Valley. The new Graduate Center is located just one block from the picturesque campus of Union College, where many classes are still held. Union Graduate Center is just a few hours from New York City, Boston, and Montreal. Programs are offered in Education, Engineering, Management (including Health Care Management), Bioethics, as well as interdisciplinary degrees related to these fields (including joint programs with Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, Albany College of Law, and Albany College of Pharmacy).

The MAT program is for individuals with BA or BS degrees with no prior teaching certification who are committed to becoming secondary school teachers or for teachers who are seeking an advanced degree in education and want to improve and expand their repertoire of teaching methods. The MS is a part-time program for working science and mathematics teachers seeking an advanced degree. The school also offers an MA in History. MA in English and an MA in History and English
