Manhattan College takes advantage of its New York location and understands that graduate students need flexibility, quality, and alumni networking opportunities. The graduate programs offer small classes and have program directors who are leaders in their field. The flexible programs include mostly evening and some weekend classes.

Following St. John Baptist de La Salle's mission, Manhattan College is inclusive of all faiths and cultures. As Lasallians, Manhattan's ultimate goal is to educate hearts and minds so that students can live up to their full potential to become successful, ethical adults who will make the world a better place for all of us.

The College's total enrollment, graduate and undergraduate, is approximately 3,600 students coming from 32 states and 37 foreign countries.

The graduate division offers programs leading to master's degrees through the schools of education and engineering. In fall of 2011, the College launched an MBA program for qualified Manhattan undergraduate students. Please visit for more details.

The school of education is committed to the mission of Manhattan College to provide a contemporary, student-centered education that embodies the Lasallian traditions of scholarship, excellence in teaching, respect for individual dignity, and commitment to social justice. The additional goal of the graduate programs is to prepare self-directed, reflective, scholarly professionals dedicated to the highest standards for themselves and those whom they serve. Professionals are prepared in the fields of counseling, school leadership and special education.

Engineering graduate programs provide the academic and professional needs of those who are already engaged in engineering or those who, having completed their undergraduate degrees, desire to enter immediately into advanced study. The engineering graduate programs are intended to prepare professionals for advanced-level technical and administrative positions or for admission to doctoral programs at other institutions.
