The graduate programs at Saint Mary's combines our top-level academics, a commitment to social responsibility, and an eye toward innovation. Through our exceptional curriculum, you will better both yourself and your profession. Many institutions can provide you with the skills and knowledge to excel at what you do. It takes a place like Saint Mary's, however, to blend the technical knowledge with leadership development and attention to service. We offer four programs open to both men and women: the Master of Science in Data Science (a primarily online program), the Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology (on campus), the Doctor of Nursing Practice (an online program in which students visit campus once per semester), and the Master of Autism Studies (on campus).
Master of Science in Data Science
You've heard ad nauseam that data scientists are in demand. But the most sought-after practitioners are those who actually write the algorithms used to decipher and interpret data. At Saint Mary's you'll develop a strong mathematical base - an enduring skill set in an ever-changing world - that will allow you to take on complex data challenges now and in the future, no matter what programming language you're using. According to Mike Durham, a Saint Mary's alum and solution architect with the Teradata Corporation, the increased analytics skills have significantly elevated his ability to find and interpret meaningful data patterns. "I'm able to dig beyond what a simple analyst can do, and not only tell them what happened, but why it happened, and why we came up with the answers we did.

Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology
As a speech language pathologist, you want to do more than simply be aware of the needs of others. You want to meet these needs, surpass them, and leave the world a better place than when you came into it. At Saint Mary's you'll be asked to think deeply about how you plan to practice. You will be known as the speech language pathologist who says "yes" to the difficult cases, tailors treatment to the individual, and adjusts methodology within a session when a client isn't responding. You will be challenged to explore areas that haven't been well researched, to add to the field of speech language pathology, and gain valuable insight working alongside experienced clinicians.

Doctor of Nursing Practice
Become a leader of change and transform lives. Go straight from your BSN to DNP with the primarily online program at Saint Mary's College, and be seen as a leader in the healthcare field. With a DNP degree you will be able to provide the highest level of care for your patients - and take your career to new heights. Current student and ER nurse Kerriann Dooley is in her final year, and already she feels the program has "put me ahead of my colleagues." With just 2-3 classes per term, the curriculum is designed so that you can work and complete your course assignments just about anywhere, with the support of the Saint Mary's community.

Master of Autism Studies
Saint Mary's College also offers a Master of Autism Studies. This campus-based program will prepare you to respond to the critical need for understanding and responding meaningfully to autism and people with autism. Most professionals who work with people on the spectrum are not specifically trained in autism: they are trained as generalists in traditional disciplines and have to learn about ASD on the fly. In addition, degree programs in these fields do not typically equip students with the interdisciplinary and interprofessional skills required for providing state-of-the-art autism services. The Master of Autism Studies program responds to these challenges by providing the interdisciplinary expertise in autism you need to be a more effective professional and to advance in your career.
