Master of Arts (online)
The dynamic Master of Arts Program is fully online, and offers full and part-time options, enabling students to plan academic studies around their personal schedules. Master of Arts with a concentration in Counseling Psychology
The Master's with a concentration in Counseling Psychology is designed to offer traditional courses and supervised internship experience required by state and national credentialing bodies. Offered as a hybrid program with on-ground and online courses, students meet coursework requirements for national certification by the NBCC and may be eligible to sit for the National Counselor’s Exam while in their final term. Whether enrolling full-time or part-time, students must plan on attending three weekends per year at Union’s Academic Center in Brattleboro, Vermont.

Doctor of Psychology (PsyD)
The Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree program with a concentration in Clinical Psychology maintains a strong commitment to social justice and utilizes a distributed learning model. Designed to meet the needs of working professionals, the program integrates electronically mediated coursework with on-ground classroom-based learning. Small cohorts of 8-12 students meet approximately once a month for Professional Development Seminars and coursework in either Cincinnati, Ohio or Brattleboro, Vermont for the first three years of the program, in addition to biannual week-long Academic Meetings.

PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies
Students pursuing the PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies focus their studies in one of the following three areas of concentration: Ethical & Creative Leadership, Humanities & Culture, Public Policy & Social Change. At the beginning of every January and July approximately 20 new students and all returning students come together for nine days of Academic Residency in Cincinnati, Ohio. The students move through the doctoral program as members of cohorts that are formed within and across the program's three areas of concentration. The cohort model leads to the formation of academic communities through regular and sustained interaction among students and between students and faculty.

EdD
UI&U's Doctor of Education program offers the EdD degree with specializations in Educational Leadership (Pre-K through 12) and Higher Education. As a whole, the Doctor of Education program features an emphasis on ethics and social justice. The EdD program is uniquely designed to align with the needs, experiences, and interests of mid-career professionals. Those who seek a low-residency doctoral experience can engage in advanced scholarship while balancing professional and family commitments.
